  If you're accessing the beach by foot from Puerto de la Nieves or Agate, then the downward footpath off the GC-200 is quite tricky (we were there in early February after a recent rainstorm so the path had been partly washed away). However, there does also (appear) to be road access as well!

  Remote and secluded beach with black sand.

  Remote beach with awesome black sand and less people than usual beach. Great swimming even in January.

  Nudist beach with a handful of locals. It is easy trekking from the road and there is limited parking. Road is slightly scary to drive down and it is easy to miss the turn off. Follow Google maps and if you hit the viewing point head back down the mountain and take the first dirt track in the left. Bring supplies as there is nothing nearby. It is worth a visit and has a lot of charm.

  It is a glorious quiet beach. If the wind is blowing directly onto the beach then you probably won't be able to swim due to the size of the waves and the current. Still, it's a great spot to get away from it all.
